Jenny Laven, Lance Laven, Kevin Good, Shana Good, and Malcolm Proudfit after the sale of Laven Electric to Good Energy Solutions.

Good Energy Solutions announced its acquisition of Laven Electric, a provider of electrical and solar services based in Leavenworth, Kansas. This strategic move strengthens Good Energy Solutions’ commitment to enhancing clean energy access and expanding its electrical service offerings in Northeast Kansas and the Kansas City area.

Laven Electric was founded in 2003 by brothers Lance and Luke Laven with the purpose of providing quality electrical services in the Leavenworth area. The acquisition will enable Good Energy Solutions to integrate Laven Electric’s expertise and resources, providing a more comprehensive range of resources to clients seeking sustainable energy options and best-in-class electrical services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Laven Electric to the Good Energy Solutions family,” said Malcolm Proudfit, CEO of Good Energy Solutions. “This acquisition aligns perfectly with our mission to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. By combining our strengths, we can better serve a wider range of customers and drive further growth for our firm.”

This acquisition is expected to enhance operational efficiencies and create new opportunities for both companies.

“The new owners, Kevin and Shana Good, along with their CEO Malcolm Proudfit, share the same values and commitment to quality that have been the foundation of Laven Electric’s business philosophy,” said Lance Laven, former owner of Laven Electric. “I am confident that they will continue to deliver the level of service you’ve come to expect from us as customers. In fact, I truly believe they will bring fresh energy and new resources to further improve and expand our services.”
