The company established in the US said that the new EL18KLV Side Doze heat pump R-454B uses as a coolant and has a size of 2 tons to 5 tons.

Lennox, based in the US, has presented a new residential heat pump for space -related areas.

“The side drain heat pump gives homeowners in zero-lot-line or narrow-lot houses access to a highly efficient heat pump without needing extra space,” said Sarah MartinExecutive Vice President and President of Lennox Home Comfort Solutions.

Dubbeds EL18KLV side drain pump, the new heat pump system has an efficiency rating of up to 19 for seasonal energy -efficiency Ratio 2 (Seer2) and 10 for heating seasonal performance factor 2 (HSPF2).

The new product uses R-454B as the coolant and has a size ranging from 2 tons to 5 tons. The number of tons does not refer to its weight, but to it Ton heat that a house needs.

The cooling capacity is assessed between 22,000 BTUTS and 56,000 BTUT, while the heating capacity varies from 23,600 BTUT and 56,000 BTUT.

The largest device of the series has a size of 2,057 mm x 1.432 mm x 432 mm. “The design of the variable capacity adjusts the output to tune into the needs of household comfort and at the same time support energy efficiency,” the manufacturer said.

The noise level of the system is between 54 dB and 60 dB.

All systems of the series are supplied with a limited 10-year warranty on compressors and a 5-year limited warranty on covered components. “An extensive limited warranty of 10 years is available with product registration,” said the company.
