The Chinese PV modulemaker Longi has debuted its new Ecolife series Solar Panels.
The Ecolife series contains the company’s back contact technology and is invoiced as a premium lifestyle brand for customers on the residential market “that appreciate quality, independence and lasting impact”.
The panels are available in a compact 54 celf format. The series contains the flagship of the entire black bifacial module of the company, LR7-54H7BB, of up to 505 W and with an efficiency of 24.7% and its premium completely black bifacial module, LR7-54HVBB, of up to 485 W and with efficiency of 23.8%.
Both modules have a larger installed capacity and faster payback time of the system than Topcon modules, according to a product propagation of the presentation held today at Intersolar.
The presentation also stated that the Ecolife series reduces the degradation of power by 70% compared to Topcon modules under the same shaded conditions. The result is stimulated by a built-in diode technology that only causes 8% efficiency loss when a single cell is shadow.
The series has a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/C.
Speaking of a product unveiling during this year’s Intersolar, Longi Group President said: “The series can support the different needs of different European countries”, with the possibility of adapting to local circumstances and customer needs, including hail, hurricanes and snow resistance.
At Intersolar, Longi also revealed a new bifacial N-type HJT zone module based on architecture with return contact.
