Net measuring schedule hits 141 MW in the Filippijnen-PV Magazine International

The Department of Energy of the Philippines says that his network program has added around 141 MW to the net since its foundation in 2015.

According to the department, the capacity of renewable energy increased by 794.3 MW in 2024. The result exceeds the combined capacity installed in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The Doe said that the growth of capacity dismissals helps to strengthen the reliability and resilience of the network and a direct consequence of strong policy reforms and streamlined Regular processes.

Energie -Secretary Raphael PM Lotilla said that the Philippines are convinced that it will achieve a target to increase the share of renewable energy in its power generation mix to 35% by 2030 and 50% by 2040.

Earlier this month, the Doe announced that the certificates of Energy Projects of National Significance (CEPNS) spent on 91 sustainable energy projects in the last eight months of 2024, in total 17.6 GW In capacity.
