A New Jersey Solar project from CS Energy.
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) has announced a memorandum of agreement (MOU) between Rutgers University and the NJBPU division of clean energy to set up Graduate certificate program for clean energy. The board approved De Mou on the agenda meeting of 12 February.
“New Jersey has a long history of a national leader in technological and policy innovation,” said NJBPU president Christine Guhl-Sadovy. “Training of the next generation professionals in the field of clean energy and policy leaders will serve the state and ratepayers well. By strengthening the career pipeline between New Jersey’s first-class research institutions, such as Rutgers University and the government, we help young professionals to see critical Real-World experience, while we also new and diverse perspectives will also be new and diverse perspectives.”
The Clean Energy Graduate Certificate Program is designed to offer Master’s Degree Student Basic knowledge in three important areas: energy-based engineering, energy-public policy and applied energy economy, which mainly focuses on clean energy. NJBPU employees will use candidates for the assessment and choose and the skills of the selected fellows to help develop and implement the state policy. The collaboration between Rutgers/NJBPU will touch every step of the process. Rutgers is expected to award potential fellowships in the autumn of 2025 and further, depending on the number and success of applications. Persons who are selected if fellows will be embedded in the board and support the work of the Department of Clean Energy from April 2025 to July 2028.
