Origami Sun Expands its product line in response to customer feedback and the growing market demand. The new steel solar panel frames are all made in the United States, can usually be sent within two days and are eligible for the IRA’s domestic content bonus.

The new products include:

  • A lighter-weight, 30 mm high frame optimized for usefulness and commercial customers aimed at lower costs and loading reviews, available in both glass/glass and glass/foil options.
  • A flensless short side frame, available in both a 30 mm and 35 mm high profile, to further reduce the costs, while only at least influences the performance of the frame.
  • A residential specific frame, available in multiple profiles.

“We started this trip of innovation with the aim of switching the solar industry from imported extruded aluminum to the interior produced,” said Gregg Patterterson, CEO of origami Solar. “The customer’s response is overwhelmingly positive. Manufacturers, developers and other stakeholders in the sun are receptive to the material transition and enthusiastic about the demonstrated performance of our 35 mm frame.”
