Oxford PV, Trina Solar Enter the patent license agreement for Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Solar-PV Magazine International

The exclusive license agreement relates to the production or sale of PVSKITE PV products for the Chinese market. A statement from Oxford PV says that the agreement “the consensus of the industry underlines that Perovskite-based PV technologies are the future of solar energy.”

Perovskite Solar Specialist Oxford PV has signed a patent permit agreement with the Chinese module manufacturer Trina Solar.

The agreement includes the production and sale of Fotovoltaic products based on Perovoltaic in China and includes an extra right to sublicense.

Oxford PV claims to be a market leader in Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Solar Technology and to keep the strongest worldwide patent portfolio for Perovskite-based technologies. A statement from Oxford PV says that its patent permit agreement with Trina Solar “Perovskite PV validates as the technology ready to define the future of solar energy”, while the position of the company is consolidated in the middle of the Perovskite -eco system.

The statement adds that the agreement reflects a growing trend of patent recognition and IP in China and makes a faster deployment of very efficient solar sun on GW scale possible.

Oxford PV has also said that it retains the economic rights to “use his leadership position in Perovskite PV through further license agreements and extension plans with high volume.”

“This agreement is a milestone in our mission to make PV -Mainream PV -Mainream and confirms the crucial role of patents in today’s photovoltaic day and the future,” said Oxford PV director David Ward. “We are pleased that Trina Solar, one of the world’s leading solar manufacturers, will be able to offer our technology to the Chinese market.”

“We encourage other parties that are interested in a license outside of China to contact us,” Ward added.
