Pine Gate renewable energy sources and meta have announced the fourth project of the couple, a renewable purchase agreement for Magnolia Solar. The 210-MW Solar project is located near Seguin, Texas and supports Meta’s efforts to keep matching their activities with 100% clean and renewable energy capacity. The Magnolia Solar project from Pine Gate is on schedule to become operational in 2026.
Magnolia Solar is a member of the Seguin Chamber of Commerce and recently sponsored five fairs through the independent Cattlemen’s Association of Texas. The Magnolia Solar Project will support hundreds of building courses and is expected to pay more than $ 30 million in local taxes without putting a burden on the surrounding resources or infrastructure.
“This partnership encourages Pine Gate’s mission to generate the power of tomorrow, made possible by the leadership of Meta and our dedication to the implementation of clean and renewable energy,” said Dave Groleau, Executive VP at Pine Gate Renewables. “We are delighted to extend the portfolio of projects with Meta to more than 500 MW of clean and renewable energy. Together with our other partners, this agreement helps to stimulate more than $ 750 million in investments in third -party infrastructure for renewable energy.”
