Primergy SolarThe Ash Creek Solar Project has reached commercial operation in Hill County, Texas. The 408 MWAC Fotovoltaic power plant on solar energy now supplies affordable energy to the grid in collaboration with Microsoft through a long-term power purchasing agreement.

During its operational lifespan, the project will offer an estimated $ 100 million in tax payments to Hill County. Last year, Primergy announced $ 588 million in project financing for the construction of the project, and an additional commitment of $ 350 million to tax stock financing, so that the total capital for Ash Creek Solar was committed at almost $ 1 billion.
Ash Creek Solar was originally developed by Orion Power Generation, a joint venture between Orion Renewable Energy Group and Eolian. The development started in 2016 and Primergy took over the project in 2021.
