Claycoa turnkey real estate development and construction company, is launching Power and Energy, a new business unit that expands the company into the renewable energy sector. With an initial focus on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, Clayco Power and Energy will provide design and EPC services.

Clayco is currently under contract and in the design phase for a solar and battery storage project in Illinois, expected to be mobilized in 2026. The company said in a press release that this expansion comes at a time when the U.S. power grid needs rapid electrical deployment to meet growing data center energy demands.
