Saatvik Solar starts working on 4.8 GW cell, 4 GW module factory in India

Saatvik Solar has broken the land on a 4.8 GW solar cell and 4 GW module -Production -factory in East India, with module production that starts at the end of the tax 2026 and cell production per tax 2027.

Saatvik Solar Industries, a complete subsidiary of Saatvik Green Energy, started work on his integrated solar cell and module production facility in Odisha. The facility has 4.8 GW solar cell and 4 GW production capacity for solar module.

The factory is set up on Landsubsubs from Tata Steel Special Economic Zone LTD in Gopalpur Industrial Park in the Ganjam district. The production of modules in the factory is planned to start with the end of the tax 2026, planned with the production of solar cells to start at the end of the tax 2027.

From 28 February 2025, Saatvik Green Energy has an operational production capacity of 3.80 GW. It also expands its Ambala facility with 1 GW. This extra capacity is expected to be put into use in the first quarter of the tax 2026.
