Schneider Electric acquires Wattbuy Home-Electrification Software Platform-PV Magazine International

Van Schneider Electric is expected to merge the Wattbuy with EnergySage and Qmerit to offer an end-to-end experience for residential solar Zonne-Zon, EV integration, house electrification and related services.

Schneider Electric, a worldwide energy management company, said that the Wattbuy has taken over, a software company that offers personalized home energy insights and electrification solutions.

Schneider Electric will merge Wattbuy with his subsidiaries EnergySage and Qmerit to expand the electrification and energy storage services from the home. Together, the companies want to provide an end-to-end customer experience for home energy upgrades, including solar energy on the roof, storage on battery energy, EV chargers and home electrification.

Wattbuy has an API-driven approach and works together with brands such as Redfin, Veterans United Home Loans, OpenDoor and more. he current management team, chief executive officer and co-founder Naman Trivedi Will continue to lead the activities of Wattbuy.

“Electrification is the determining chance of the next decade – and it starts with empowering consumers,” said Jaser FaruqSenior Vice President of Innovation at Schneider Electric. “Wattbuy’s personalization options and intelligence motor are the perfect addition to the Mission of EnergySage of transparency and choice.”
