Seal solar energy is in the final stages of construction of a 13.05 MW array Baptist Healththe largest private, not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Arkansas.

This array is one of the largest non-utility scale systems installed in Arkansas. Seal Solar is installing 22,300 double-sided solar panels on 49 hectares of a former rice farm.

“Baptist Health is excited to be part of this new solar farm – a step toward generating cleaner, more sustainable energy while lowering costs,” said Brent Beaulieu, CFO of Baptist Health. “This project reflects our commitment to being a greener organization and builds on our strong track record of energy efficiency, as evidenced by our Energy Star Rating of 83% at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.”

“Seal Solar has a long history of working with businesses, farmers and nonprofits across Arkansas to incorporate solar and storage into their mix of energy needs. We are proud to partner with the team at Baptist Health to help meet their sustainability and cost-saving needs,” said John Buckley, Seal Solar project manager overseeing construction of the project.

The solar panels for Baptist Health are expected to be completed in early spring 2026 and connected to Entergy Arkansas’ electrical grid.
