Sinovoltaics maps the growth of PV production in India

The Hong Kong-based technical compliance and quality assurance company’s latest supply chain report covers India and provides information on current and planned capacity across 116 manufacturing plants.

A new supply chain tracking report published by Sinovoltaics, a Hong Kong-based technical compliance and quality assurance company, documents the size, location and ownership of 116 locations in India.

It covers manufacturers of PV modules, cells, wafers, blocks, polysilicon and metallurgical silicon until the end of the first quarter of 2024. Information on products made, size and planned capacity in 2027 for each location is shown in an infographic map. and a table.

There are multiple entries if a manufacturer has more than one factory. Some of the PV manufacturers with multiple locations are: Adani Solar, EmmveeMundra solar energy, Premier Energies photovoltaic energyRenewsys and Vikram Solar.

Sinovoltaics started publishing reports on manufacturing hubs after monitoring industrial developments for years.

This is the latest supply chain report, following editions on Southeast Asia, Europe and US manufacturing, which listed 50, 91 and 81 locations respectively. The company plans to update the lists every four months.
