SolarEdge now offers US-made residential batteries

SolarEdge Technologies announced that it is now commercializing the new SolarEdge Home Battery “USA Edition,” completing its extensive portfolio of domestically produced solar and storage products designed to qualify for the bonus credit for domestic content, as currently required by the U.S. Treasury and Internal Affairs Departments. Tax authorities. SolarEdge previously announced contract manufacturing partnerships in Austin, Texas and Seminole, Florida.

The SolarEdge Home Battery USA Edition joins the company’s existing line of US inverters and power optimizers, helping TPOs, PPAs, leasing providers and commercial system owners maximize potential domestic content incentives for their entire solar and storage installations. The battery provides 9.7kWh of storage capacity and features SolarEdge ONE, the company’s next-generation energy optimization system, which maximizes energy savings by intelligently managing solar energy exports during peak periods.

The SolarEdge Home Battery USA Edition, along with other domestically manufactured products, features a special SKU to simplify tracking qualifications for the Domestic Content Bonus Credit.
