ZonModoan American manufacturer of solar racks, has completed the UL 3741 listing process for both its NanoRack and SMR Roof Mount systems. NanoRack is a roof mounting attachment and SMR Roof Mounts are rail-based racking – both systems work on sloping roofs.

“Achieving UL 3741 certification for our NanoRack and SMR roof mounting systems is a clear signal to our customers and partners that SunModo is committed to the long-term safety, efficiency and reliability of our racking solutions,” said Steve Mumma, CEO of SunModo. “With this offering, we continue to demonstrate that SunModo is the racking partner that will help them achieve the most success.”

The UL 3741 certification guarantees a safety standard for the control of photovoltaic hazards. In addition to reducing the risk of shock, UL 3741 can also reduce the overall cost of solar projects by not requiring the installation of module-level power electronics on an array.

The listing for NanoRack and SMR is effective immediately and companies can now download the certificate and “Hazard Control Installation Addendum” from SunModo’s website.
