The Supreme Court of California will hear pt at 9 a.m. at 9 a.m. at 9 a.m. in a lawsuit that is the decision of the California Public Utility Commission to beat the credit of the new solar user users, which is considerably disposed of that surplus energy with the roster is disposed of.

The commission’s updated network policy, which came into force in April 2023, dismisses the customer credits by a maximum of 80% for electricity generated on roofs and sold back to the grid. This has the efforts to expand solar energy in the state, especially in communities and neighborhoods with a low income and have led to enormous dismissals in the solar industry. The Center for Biological Diversity says it too violate the State ActFor which the committee ensures that the solar market continues to grow on the roof, especially in communities of environmental justice.

In 2022 the Center for Biological Diversity, The Protect Our Communities Foundation and the Environmental Working Group challenge The new policy of the state. Although the California Court of Appeal rejected the challenge, the Supreme Court of California accepted the appeal of the proposers of that decision. In May, the Supreme Court of the State issued a focus letter with the question of whether the lower court should have followed a state law that requires that the assessment judge should consider the committee’s decisions such as those of a state agency, rather than postponing the committee.
