Because large players are increasingly investing in stationary energy storage to stabilize electric grids and support renewable integration, an important new deal will reform the supply chain. Tesla has reported LG Energy Solution (LGEs) for a huge range of batteries made by the US, which indicates a strategic push to strengthen its energy division.

According to reports of The Korean HeraldThe deal is appreciated at $ 4.3 billion and sees LGES LFP batteries deliver from August 2027 to July 2030.

It is said that industrial observers said that the batteries are specifically intended for stationary storage with Tesla’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (Bess), including products such as the Megapack. The strategic focus of the South Korean company for its American factories are increasingly focused on producing LFP cells that are optimized for Bess applications.
