Trinasolar has donated 300 solar panels to Jeugdbuild Global As part of his Solar Jobs Pathway Initiative. The N-type Topcon modules are used in training laboratories for solar installation at locations in the United States to inform youth building trainees about installing PV mounting systems and offering practical experience that is crucial for a career in solar installation.

Youth building

Part of the modules will be installed on an affordable residential unit built by Youthbuild trainees in Youthbuild Lake County in North Chicago, Illinois, to compensate for the costs for a family with a low income. The remaining part of the modules will be installed on the roof of the CLC, Inc. Youthbuilding Building in Fort Worth, Texas, to help compensate for a majority, if not all, of the utility costs of the facility, so that more resources can be assigned to supporting trainees and program management.

“This donation is more than just solar panels – it’s about creating opportunities for our future leaders,” said Eric Cao, vice -president of Trinasolar North American PV Business. “It is important to help future generations to acquire real skills that will come into effect their career and their communities for the coming years.

As a head office for the Jeugdbuild movement, Youthbuild Global unites an extensive network of youth construction programs around the world, which are opportunities for opportunities in achieving their ambitions and achieving their full potential. In programs for youth buildings, young people who are not from school and recover their education without work, they receive skills and references and become leaders in their communities.

The Solar Jobway Initiative of Youthbuild Global focuses on training young people in solar installation skills and offering references that prepare them for a meaningful career in the growing renewable energy sector. By equipping interns with experience on universal mounting systems, youth building ensure that participants are ready to work with different solar technologies when entering the staff.

“We are incredibly grateful to Trina for this generous donation. It is a game changer for our programs and the young people we serve,” said John Valverde, President and CEO of Youthbuild Global. “It means more hands-on training, more real experience and more opportunities for our next generation to build a future for themselves and their communities.”

The Solar Jobs Pathway Initiative is rapidly expanding, with plans to install solar panels on more programs to lower operating costs and offer affordable solutions for solar energy to new homeowners.
