US ENGIE Brand taken over by LS Power, Rebrands as Opterra

LS Power Has Engie Services taken over and renamed the company to its previous name, OPTERRA ENERGY SERVICES.

OPTERRA has more than 50 years of operational experience and offers energy solutions, including upgrades of energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, energy storage, microgrids, operations and maintenance, HVAC and lighting. OPTERRA has completed more than 9,000 projects in the public sector in North America.

“Meeting the growing energy demand in America will require a ‘Meer-Van-Alles’ approach, and the market for energy services is an integral piece of that puzzle,” said LS Power CEO Paul Segal. “The addition of OPTERRA brings a rare combination of leadership talent, technical expertise and trusted customer relationships that improve the Platform of LS Power’s Energy Solutions. Their advanced capacities in energy-efficiency services and low-carbon-poor offers continue to extend our portfolio and infrastructure solutions.”

OPTERRA agrees with the existing portfolio of energy infrastructure companies from LS Power that offer energy efficiency and grid reliability services.
