Versiris energy completed a 575.36 kWDC rooftop solar project for a national commercial retail facility in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Versisis, a commercial solar developer and subsidiary of lender New Energy Equity, worked with a subcontractor Cedar Creek Energy to build the array.

“Working with Versiris Energy has been a fantastic experience,” said TJ Wilson, commercial solar project manager at Cedar Creek Energy. “Their professionalism, attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality renewable energy projects make them an ideal partner. Together we have been able to deliver a system that will have a meaningful impact.”

The fully ballasted system includes 992 solar panels and seven inverters. Although the system design was simple, there were logistical challenges due to limited car access and frequent semi-truck deliveries. Versiris’ engineering team developed custom switchgear to keep lanes clear, while the management team implemented a logistics plan to avoid disruptions to delivery schedules and customer experiences.

“Collaboration and adaptability were key to the success of this project,” says the lead program manager for on-site solar at the national commercial retailer. “The Versiris Energy team has worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure a seamless installation process, and we are proud to add a project to our portfolio that will deliver clean, renewable energy for years to come.”
