Where Energies started with commercial production at its 1.4 GW Mono -Passivated Emitter Achter Cell (PERC) Zonnelijn in Chikhli, Gujarat. It is the first phase of the largest production facility of the solar cell of India.

The factory, operated by the largest PV module manufacturer in India, will reach a total capacity of 5.4 GW, including 4 GW very efficient tunnel oxide-passivated contact (topcon) solar cells set for commissioning in the next phase.

“The start of commercial production in our 1.4 GW Mono Perc-Zonnecellijn is an important step in the direction of building a self-sufficient solar ecosystem,” said Amit Paitankar, CEO of Waardee Energies. “This facility corresponds to the government’s brand in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat [self-reliant India] Initiatives, strengthening the energy dependence of India. “

Where Energies said that the Chikhli facility is state-of-the-art production lines, advanced automation and strict quality control measures, which guarantees the efficiency and reliability of world class.

The company, with head office in Mumbai, has production facilities with an installed capacity of 13.3 GW for PV modules (including 1.3 GW Indosolar).
