At Intersolar Europe 2024, pv magazine spoke with Edurne Zoco, Executive Director of Clean Energy Technology at S&P Global Commodity Insights, about module price developments, increasing demand for solar energy and PV panel production outside China. She claims that panel prices could stabilize in the second half of this year or early 2025 and that the seven largest Chinese manufacturers could even continue with their capacity expansion plans. She also believes that without further substantial incentives, Europe will not be able to create a domestic PV supply chain.
