A research team of the Japanese diversified Technology Group Hitachi, LTD, chemical company Tokuyama Corporation and manufacturer of the manufacturer Itoki Corporation in the workplace has shown a complete solution to recycles solar PV panels in new office furniture with SEMIe-to-Privacy, in particular in a privacy pod, in particular in a privacy-pod-in-a privacy podae-tanphari. glass.

Creating the Privacy Cabin Prototype required input from all three partners. Tokuyama ensured its low temperature pyrolysis technology for high -quality separation of panel components; Hitachi offered the non-destructive inspection equipment for glass plate to ensure that recycled panels were not damaged by cracking or alkaline elution, which it was said to occur on the glass surface when exposing to water or alkaline solutions for long-term periods outside; And Itoki designed the conference cabin that uses the unique characteristics of the restored plate glass.

The structural strength was made possible by combining glass and steel surfaces, while according to the team small irregularities could be integrated into the display function according to the team.

The three companies started the joint research project in September 2024 with the aim of finding an extra, high-quality recycling option for PV cover, except for making glass spaces for applications in the construction sector, such as fillers for roads.

“The plate glass used in solar panels is good for around 60% of their weight, and reusing this glass in a high -quality way is crucial for increasing the recycling rate of solar panels,” the team said in a statement. By 2030 it expects around 500,000 tons of solar panels in Japan in Japan.

The initiative is said to mark the first time that the plate glass has been restored from solar panels reused in office furniture without being crushed, according to joint internal research.

Plans for commercialization include building chains with office furniture and building materials, industries, development models, standards, quality verification protocols and evaluation technologies.
