Worldone Energies Commissions 1.2 GW Solar Module Line

Worldone Energies has commissioned a 1.2 GW production line of the solar module that will produce its highest series N-Tunneloxide-Passivated Contact (Topcon) panels.

The World Energies, based in India, has commissioned a 1.2 GW production line of the solar module designed for fast, highly efficient production of N-type Monocrystalline Bifacial Supreme Series modules ranging from 525 Watt-peak (WP) to 650 WP.

“The new line works 33% faster than standard Indian production lines, which improves production -efficiency and reduction times is shortened,” said Worldone Energies. “An important innovation is the largest room laminators in India, making higher module laminations per cycle possible while retaining strict quality standards.”

The company said that the Supreme Series contains modules with a maximum of 23.26% efficiency, built with 144/156 half-celled cells to guarantee high performance in residential, commercial and utility scales applications.

Worldone Energies is planning to expand its production capacity of the solar module from the current 1.2 GW to 7 GW against 2027 and 10 GW by 2030. The also plants a 2 GW solar facility, scalable to 5 GW.

In addition to solar panels, the company offers battery energy storage systems (BESS) using lithium ion batteries with high capacity and solutions for hybrid energy management. It also offers solar converters to optimize the energy conversion for on-grid, off-grid and hybrid applications.
