Brooklyn SolarWorks today announced its official acceptance into the NYC Accelerator Service Provider Program. This distinction positions Brooklyn SolarWorks as a trusted resource for building owners and operators looking to decarbonize their properties to comply with Local Law 97 and contribute to a greener New York City.

The news follows Brooklyn SolarWorks’ formation of a dedicated project division, Solar for Construction, specializing in solar energy integration for new construction and renovation projects. This new service is intended for architects, developers and general contractors who want to integrate solar energy into their projects. The combination of these developments positions Brooklyn SolarWorks for significant growth in the multifamily and commercial solar market segments.

“We are grateful to be recognized by NYC Accelerator as a qualified service provider,” said TR Ludwig, CEO of Brooklyn SolarWorks. “We look forward to using this accreditation to expand our reach across the city and help building owners achieve their decarbonization goals and create healthier, more energy-efficient spaces for residents and tenants.”

NYC Accelerator, a program of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice, is designed to put the city on a path to carbon neutrality while building healthier, safer communities. The program provides free resources to help building owners, managers, developers, advocacy groups, industry professionals and city residents implement energy and cost-saving measures to decarbonize New York. Interested parties can gain access to events and training, guidance on local laws and regulations and assistance with project financing.

As a NYC Accelerator Service Provider, Brooklyn SolarWorks offers a comprehensive suite of solar solutions that reduce energy and contribute to the decarbonization of New York City, including expert property assessments, custom solar plan development, streamlined installation, and help navigating incentives and financing options.
