After starting production at his Shanghai Energy Storage Factory In February, Tesla was now set to deliver another factory in the field of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in its home floor.

Waller County, Texas, approved a tax deal for the manufacturer this week to build and exploit its Megapack factory in an industrial park that is owned by improvements of real estate. Tesla already held the lease on the building of 1 million square foot (92,900 square meters) by a third party, Logistics Company DB Schenker.

The tax reduction includes two phases. The first includes improvements in the production facility for $ 44 million, such as grid connection capacity and HVAC. It also includes the installation of megapack production equipment for an amount of $ 150 million.
