Seris has launched a Solar Asset Management Company called PV Doctor. Invoated as a commercial spin -off based on 15 years of research, the startup is designed to ensure that solar installations of all sizes work an optimal yield.

The new company uses AI-driven analyzes and real-time monitoring to prevent energy losses and to protect long-term asset value.

The core services include smart operations and management platform that detects performance problems, analyzes rudal causes and proposes corrective actions. It includes the performance ratio trending, polluted losses, shadow effects, grid disorders and errors of components.

The other services include repeated aging installations, carrying out independent performance -audits and offering strategic technical support.

PV Doctor now monitors more than 200 MW of solar installations at 40 locations in 10 countries, including 3% of Singapore PV projects.

Co-founders André Nobre and Thomas Reindl said they hope to help to help solar asset owners to maximize energy efficiency by identifying and resolving performance losses, reducing operational risks by improving predictive maintenance and early error detection and the financial return.

“The solar industry is growing rapidly, but without the right tools many systems reach their full potential,” they added. “The PV doctor is here to change that.”
