Array TechnologiesA provider for following solar tracking, revealed Duratrack Hail XP, a solar tracker that is designed to withstand extreme hail and wind events.

Hail XP builds on the Duratrack platform of Array and is specially designed for hail-sensitive regions. The tracker has been developed with direct input from customers, insurers and industrial partners.

“Hail XP is a breakthrough in the resilience of the tracker,” said Aaron Gabelnick, Chief Strategy and Technology Officer at Array Technologies. “It represents an important jump forward in protecting solar assets by combining innovative engineering with the robust reliability that our products are known for, and our customers expect from Array.”

Because insurers increasingly require proactive weather restrictions strategies, Hail XP states a new companybenchmark for the reliability of the tracker. The tracker does not rely on batteries for operations and is STEA AC -driven. Hagel XP has a 77 ° storage tilt capacity to reduce the incoming hail impact.

It is integrated with Array’s Smartrack Hail Alert Response and patented passive windstoot technologies, and has a reinforced bearing housing, larger gear rack and improved damper designed to work in hard weather conditions. Hail XP is expected to be available for first shipments at the beginning of 2026.
