The entire line of residential batteries of Briggs & Stratton is now available from Baywa Re. Distribution. The available products available from Briggs & Stratton are the latest Simpliphi 6.6 battery together with its ampliphitm 3.8 battery, Phitm 3.8 24V and Phitm 3.8 48V batteries.

“Our batteries have available for immediate shipment of [BayWa r.e.] Magagos throughout the country will make our products recognized by the industry more wider available for installers who are looking for a reliable and easy-to-install battery-back system, ”said Sequoya Cross, vice-president of energy storage for Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions.

Briggs & Stratton Simpliphi 6.6 batteries have a number of progress that make the installation easier. They have rapid-stak connectors that integrate power and communication into a single point without threads or dip switches. The batteries stack together and click in their place, making the installation easier and more efficient. The company can be put together within five minutes or less, the company claims.

They have assessed an IP65 so that they can be installed inside or outside without extra cupboards. They can be ground or wall mounted in a garage, shed, utility box or basement or outside on an outside wall. Moreover, the flexibility of using one, two or three batteries per stack means that the system can fit into compact spaces.

In addition, the Simpliphi 6.6 has complete integration of closed loop with leading inverters for advanced communication and broad non-communicating compatibility with every 48-v lithium supporting inverter.

“We zijn verheugd om Briggs & Stratton te verwelkomen bij onze leveranciersportfolio in de VS. Dit partnerschap weerspiegelt onze toewijding om onze klanten te ondersteunen met een divers aanbod van energieoplossingen. Onze focus blijft op het ondersteunen van zonne- en energieopslaginstallateurs met betrouwbare, hoogwaardige oplossingen die langdurig succes hebben,” zei Ken Lima, CEO van Baywa RE’s US Solar Distribution Business.

In 2024 it obtained its UL 9540 Edition 3 certification as a stand-alone DC ESS and recently carried out the earthquake vibration test (GR-63-CORE, edition 5. Section 4.4.1) carried out by Element US Space & Defense.
