Flexible connecting agreements are part of the process and should not be considered a nuisance by project developers. That sentiment summarized the German Deep-Dive session: “Flexible access, stable income-grid connection solutions for Bess”, on the Battery Business & Development Forum 2025 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Although many projects in Germany are confronted with years of delays due to bottlenecks, some developers are starting to break new roads with flexible connection agreements and help shape new business models.
