Greenvolt Next, part of the Greenvolt Group, will supply two solar power plants to the British energy producer Infinis.

Greenvolt Next signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Infinis covering the latter’s 49.99 MW California Solar Park in Stockton-on-Tees, and the 43.8 MW Gowerton Solar Park in Swansea.

Construction of the California solar power plant began in March this year, followed shortly by construction in Gowerton, and both sites are scheduled to be completed by summer 2027. Infinis will operate the plants when completed.

Both locations have co-located battery energy storage systems (BESS). Each was acquired by Infinis after planning permission was obtained, with the company taking over the California Solar Park in late 2024 and the Gowerton Solar Park around a year later.

The Greenvolt group launched Greenvolt Next UK in February 2025with a focus on distributed assets, primarily for commercial and industrial customers. It received a €50 million (£43.5 million) cash injection from Greenvolt Group in August 2025.

The deal with Infinis marks its foray into EPC services, delivered alongside its self-consumption solutions offering. It provides system design, installation, construction and maintenance for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.

Owen Power, CEO of Greenvolt Next, said: “This is an exciting new partnership for Greenvolt Next as we expand our EPC capabilities, a key part of our business model alongside our self-consumption C&I solutions.”
