Aspen Power This week a ceremony held to celebrate the completion of 10 new solar stands that contribute to the energy goals of Pennsylvania.
With a combined capacity of 42.5 MW, sufficient to supply 8,500 houses electricity with electricity each year, generate the long -term rental income for local landowners and stimulate the regional infrastructure. This portfolio is the first part of a multi-phase rollout in the state for Aspen Power.
“We are proud to celebrate real progress in the direction of a more affordable and resilient energy seeker in Pennsylvania,” said Jorge Vargas, CEO of Aspen Power. “At a time when the electricity rates in the entire state will rise considerably, we are proud to offer affordable electricity rates and at the same time to offer landowners stable, long -term income that can help retain and limit their property for future generations.”
Because the demand for electricity is rising rapidly throughout the state, Solar distinguishes itself to its ability to be deployed faster than traditional energy sources, making it an essential tool to meet the energy needs in the short term. The locations also brought around 800 jobs to the state through the development, construction and maintenance of the solar systems. Pennsylvania has set to reach 18% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2025, and this commercial net measurement of solar projects will help promote that goal.
“We did a lot of research before we lease our country for solar energy and are convinced that this was the right decision for our fourth generation farm,” said Judy King, an owner of Mercer County. “It will offer a steady source of income, to help us plan the future and retain the country for the next generation. We are dedicated to bring back every penny to this farm, while we also support the economy by using local companies. We are pleased to play a role in Pennsylvania’s Energy Future strengthens.”
