Electoroute works together with Arenko for the British Bess market input

Electoroute, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, will give the Nimbus Trade software from Arenko license to optimize and run its British Bess portfolio, because it works to expand to the British market.

Electoroute, which was founded in the Republic of Ireland in 2011, announced it would work to grow his presence in Great -Britain in September Last year, with a focus on co-located solar and storage projects. To date, Electroroute is currently managing more than 3GW of solar and bess activa in Great -Britain, Ireland and Japan; Of these, 1.9 GW is on the island of Ireland, including more than 250 MW of energy storage assets.

The Nimbus Trade software from Arenko will be integrated with the currently used trade desk from Electroroute and its own software platform for core software. Combined, these software packages can be automated more effectively more effectively more effectively automated in a market access, asset control and shipping and optimization services.

This deal brings Arenko about an important milestone for his Nimbus product suite. With this partnership, Arenko now contracts more than 2.5 GW from Bess and renewable energy activa via Nimbus products.

Electoroute has had a successful year so far; In April the company announced that the four Balancing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) had signed with the British solar developer Low Carbon, with regard to the 40 MW Birch Solar Farm, 49.9 MW Sandon Brook Solar Farm, 30 MW Fern Brook Solar Farm and 18 MW).

More recently, Electroroute revealed last month that it had agreed a 15-year-old 462MWP route to Market PPA with British Solar Renewables (BSR), which include nine BSR-SONNE-PV energy plants.

Brian Kennedy, Chief Commercial Officer of Electoroute, stated that the collaboration “underlined our dedication to use innovative technology to optimize our growing battery portfolio and deliver the best-in-class energy trade solutions”.

He added that the combination of the possibilities of Arenko and Electroroute ensures that Electroroute “is well positioned to speed up our mission to make a reality a reality and to maximize value for our customers.”

Rupert Newland, founder and CEO of Arenko Group, agreed and noted that the deal is “further evidence of the bankability of our Nimbus software with top houses and large energy companies.”
