Australian company PowerCap has been officially launched on the European market with its sodium battery technology. Already in use by large companies in Australia, the technology is now being made available to European houses, companies and industries.

Dane El Safty, founder and CEO of PowerCap, says that the expansion comes at a time when European markets are actively looking for proven and scalable alternatives for lithium -based storage. “Europe has some of the most ambitious objectives for renewable energy consumption in the world and we are proud to make our technology available to support this transition,” he says.
