Avery Dennison Performance Tapes has introduced a series of new solar panel binding products. The sustainable, UV-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA) are aimed at manufacturers of solar panels and can be used within automated lines.

“Our unique binding products are a versatile solution to help meet the growing commercial and residential demand as the solar energy prices fall,” said Danielle Wiltrout, product manager of Avery Dennison Performance Tapes, North -America, in a statement.

The glue solutions of the glue are ‘designed to perform in multiple applications’, such as frame assembly, cellixation, dielectric insulation, peripheral protection, binding, safety labels, panel -risen assembly, connection box mounting and cable confirmation.

Avery Dennison -Tape offers an alternative to mechanical mounting methods with a thinner profile and lighter weight. “They also spread their binding forces more evenly than screws and rivets, causing fatigue and wear of the substrate to prevent preventing,” the company said.

The band solutions have a track record in industrial applications. “These are existing tape products that have been new and specifically adapted for construction applications for solar panels,” a spokesperson said PV Magazine.

Intreme climate, such as exposure to UV light, moisture, high and low temperatures, the tires are made to last and match the lifespan of a panel, according to the manufacturer, which she points out to contribute to the overall quality and minimizes the warranty problems.

The tires are a “simple Peel-and-stick/instant-bond” alternative to liquid adhesives. They do not necessarily take time to cure and, according to the company, in a statement “complicated” mechanical fasteners. But if necessary, these materials can be “very easy” to apply manual, noticed.

The Avery Dennison Performance Tapes products are available worldwide.
