Axitec has announced the opening of a new factory in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The factory, with a production capacity of 300 MW per year, will produce solar panels based on n-type TOPCon technology.

“The strategic location of the plant on the outskirts of Tiruvallur not only supports effective production but also ensures better control over the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of products,” Axitec said.

The facility is already operational. Axitec said it plans to double its production capacity in the near future.

“This expansion is part of Axitec’s ongoing efforts to meet growing market demand and enhance its ability to quickly deliver high-quality solar energy solutions. The plant is also in the process of obtaining ALMM certification, with a stock exchange listing expected soon, ensuring compliance with national standards for government-backed projects,” Axitec said. “Axitec’s new factory maintains its commitment to quality and will meet strict German standards.”
