The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) have each contributed $ 32.5 million to a senior debt financing package for a 100 MW solar project in South Turkey.

AIIB and TSKB has signed a senior debt financing package of $ 65 million for a 100 MW solar project in Turkey.

The Yeka Erzin 2 Hatay Solar PV project is located in the province of Hatay in Zuid -Türkiye. Granted under the renewable energy source zone of the Turkish government (Yeka) Program in June 2022 the project was developed by IC Enterra Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Turkish conglomerate IC -Holding.

The Zonnefabriek will work under a 30 -year license and delivers electricity indexed for inflation and foreign exchange via a rate. The two banks have each contributed $ 32.5 million to the debt financing package.

IC Enterra works a total of 488 MW on renewable energy capacity in Türkiye, consisting of 388 MW of nine hydroelectric power stations next to the Hatay Solar Project.

Turkey installed 3.1 GW From solar energy during the first six months of 2025, which take cumulative capacity to more than 23 GW.

The land Next Yeka -Opensingen are planned in November and December of this year, aimed at purchasing 850 MW solar sun and 1,150 MW wind. Last year’s Yeka -Tersions completed in February, allocated 800 MW From solar capacity with a final price of $ 0.0325/kWh.
