California approves the world’s largest solar energy + storage factory

The California Energy Commission (CEC) has the Darden Clean Energy Project (DCEP), the first to be allowed under the state Opt-in certification program. The project owner is IP Darden I, LLC, a subsidiary of Intersect Power.

Authorized under Assembly Bill 205, the opt-in Certification Program offers a consolidated state permit option for eligible clean energy projects, in support of the transition from California to 100 percent zero-cabbage-rich retail electric sale by 2045, as required to be completed by a project for a project for a project.

Projects looking for approval via the Opt-in certification program are required to offer community and economic benefits. The DCEP includes:

Cadiz signs second MOU for hydrogen + solar development in California

Cool factor: With this agreement and other planned developments on the site, Cadiz Ranch is one of the largest campuses for renewable energy and green hydrogen production hubs in North America. InvenEnergy’s Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Center to start construction in Ohio

Display Construction of the 240 MW Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Center in Franklin County, Ohio. Located in Galloway, Ohio, just outside of Columbus, the project represents an expected investment of $ 230 million in the province during the life of the project, through new tax revenues and lease payments. The construction of the facility will continue until the beginning of 2027 when pleasant Prairie Solar is expected to start commercial activities. InensEnergy works together with Blattner, the leader of the country in renewable energy engineering, purchasing and construction, on the construction of the project. The project is expected to create a maximum of 300 jobs during the peak construction and employs three permanent staff once they are operational.

San José Clean Energy expands the program for solar access

Cool factor: The SJCE Solar Access Program offers 100% renewable energy to pollution areas with a lower income in San José with a 20% discount.
