Chinese resource power said GCL System Integration (GCL SI) and Huayao PV won the second wave of PV module purchases for 2024, for a total of 1.85 GW. GCL SI has secured the first two segments, with 1.3 GW of expected orders, while Huayao PV is expected to purchase 550 MW.

Lingda Group said it will end its investment in the Tongling project for the production of high-efficiency PV cells, which would initially have an annual capacity of 20 GW. The project involved an estimated investment of CNY 9.15 billion ($1.26 billion). The company says it now needs to effectively manage external investment risks.

Sichuan Shuoyang Heterojunction New Energy said it plans to invest in a 10 GW HJT cell project in Leshan, Sichuan province. The company said it will build the CNY3.5 billion project in two phases of 5 GW.
