Chinese PV industry Letter: China Railway Awards 3 GW module Tender

The IT unit of China Railway Construction Corp. has appointed 10 provisional winners for the purchasing 2025 Solar module Framework. The 3 GW contract includes N-type Monocrystalline bifacial tunneloxide-passivated contact (Topcon) modules, with delivery required within 170 days of signing.

China Railway Construction Corp. Said that his IT -arm announced the preliminary winners of his 2025 Solar Module Framework -purchasing. Ten companies were nominated, including major players such as Longi, Jinkosolar, Trina Solar, Tongwei, Ja Solar, Chint and GCL SI. The contract includes the delivery of 3 GW of N-Type Monocrystalline Bifacial Topcon modules, whereby each contract is expected to be fulfilled within 170 days of signing.

Hangzhou applied material for the first time has issued a profit warning for the first half of 2025, which projects the net profit for shareholders of approximately CNY 473 million ($ 65.2 million), a decrease of 49.05% year after year. The company said that the more intensive competition and the industrial overcapacity drove a decrease in both purchasing prices for photovoltaic resin and selling prices for PV-kidney films. However, the fall in film prices surpassed the raw material costs, causing a decrease in gross profit of 46.72%.

TCL Zhonghuan Has released a provisional winning report that predicts a net loss between CNY 4 billion and CNY 4.5 billion for the first half of 2025. The company attributed the expected loss to falling product prices and inventory, and emphasized the financial tribe caused by persistent oversim in the Zonne -Supply Chain.
