Collins Aerospace, Luminace and Community energy have formed a partnership to support a portfolio of four new community solar projects in Portland, Oregon.

The projects, with a total capacity of 12 MW, will be owned and operated by Brookfield Renewables’ Luminace unit. Collins’ facility in Wilsonville, Oregon, will make up the commercial allocation, while 10% of the project credits will be allocated to low-income households.

“We are excited to partner with world-class companies like Collins Aerospace and Luminace to drive solar projects across the country,” said Richard Keizer, founder and CEO of Common Energy. “These projects will deliver economic savings and environmental benefits to businesses and consumers in the greater Portland region.”
