During a thermal renovation, the post-war building with the technical services of Rives-en-Seine (Seine-Maritime) underwent a complete roof renovation. To maintain the architectural harmony of the district, the choice of red terracotta tiles of the Edilians Company fell.

Indeed, the building is not far from the former 17th-century hood-monastery, since transformed in a castle in Neo-Renaissance style. The renovation work therefore had to meet the regulations for listed sites to maintain the landscape without damaging the original appearance of the building. Added to this limitation, the sign in the form of a marine anchor is integrated into his facade, protected by the Heritage Services.

“Since one of the roof slopes is confronted to the south, it was unthinkable not to benefit from this rehabilitation to produce energy, while the architectural identity of the building was kept, as it was built, with its red mechanical tiles and requirements that we included in the specifications, Bastien Coriton, said Riveston and Rivensrein and Rivensre, said, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Rivensone, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston, and Riveston. Consequently, 2,100 red HP10 zonnet rules with a unit of 23 Wp were installed on the south side of the roof, together with by of 725 M2 by HP10 Huguenot tiles in A rustic flamed colour.

According to Edilians, it is the largest roof made of HP10 Solar Terracotta tiles in France. The project is perfectly integrated into the landscape and comes with a 30-year waterproofing guarantee.

With an estimated electricity production capacity of 60 KWC, however, the mayor is to “cover all energy needs, the electricity consumption before the work was 261 kWh of primary energy, per m2 and per year, and to use the surplus use to provide the town hall and schools in the municipality with collective self-consumption”. With a total costs of more than € 900,000 (diagnosis, studies, work with almost € 400,000 including tax for the roof repair), the project was subsidized to 70% by the state and the Seine Maritime Department.

For the time being, as Edilians explained, the mixed weather conditions of the past months and the connection with the public grid operator ENDIS only offered in October 2024, do not offer sufficient perspective in terms of energy yield. However, with an estimated electrical generation capacity of 60 KWP, the mayor’s goal is to ‘cover all energy needs“ of which electric consumption for the work wax 261 kWh by primary energy per M2 per year“ And usage the surplus Unpleasant delivery the village hall And local school of collective yourself–consumption.“
