Eelpower Ltd. Join the Consortium of Public and Private Sector Investors to launch the developer of the new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) – Eelpower Energy. The developer focuses on the final investment decisions up to 1 GWH of capacity by the end of 2025.

A British battery storage developer has protected GBP 500 million ($ 675 million) investments in the public and private sector, creating a company that has been pronounced by storage developer of Grids scale Eelpower Limited.

It is expected that Eelmower Energy will be built, possesses and operates on storage activa on a grid scale and is aimed at supplying more than 1 GW new battery storage projects for the British grid.

De Bess – developer was founded by a consortium led by International Invitix, accompanied by Australian Pension Fund Abling Super and the National Wealth Fund (NWF) of the United Kingdom – a sovereign wealth fund of which the only shareholder is the British treasury. The NWF has promised to invest up to GBP 200 million in Eelpower Energy, according to Equitix. A spokesperson for Equitix confirmed ESS News That the investment is only for UK projects.
