Independent energy producer (IPP) Enviromena has secured a debt financing facility of up to £175 million from European asset manager Eiffel Investment Group.
The funding will support the construction and delivery of Enviromena’s 1GW solar PV pipeline in the UK. It has just under 400 MW of operational assets under management. The addition of the Eiffel Facility brings Enviromena’s total secured capital to £1 billion.
Chris Marsh, CEO of Enviromena, said: “Achieving £1 billion in total funding is a significant milestone, but its real value lies in what it makes possible. With a strong pipeline of solar projects ready to progress, this funding provides the scale, certainty and flexibility needed to deliver it, bringing new domestic clean energy capacity online when Britain needs it most.”
The company is also advancing a development and construction pipeline of approximately 3 GW of solar PV and co-located battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the UK and Europe.
In April 2026, Enviromena has secured an £825 million funding package to support the rollout of a 1GW solar PV portfolio in the UK. The facility was structured as a flexible platform financing arrangement, comprising an initial committed tranche of £525 million and a further £300 million uncommitted accordion facility.
