France Solar has not succeeded in finding a buyer or to submit a feasible takeover administration since he entered the recipient on 28 April. The commercial chamber of the judicial court of the Strasbourg ordered the liquidation of the company to settle on 1 July.
The company established in Brath, founded in 2009, installs solar panels and energy equipment. It joined the Blue Pearl Energy Group in 2022 and became the second solar company of the platform after the acquisition of Blue Pearl of Belgian company Coretec in 2020.
France Solar moved to its new head office in 2023, but cut almost 150 of his 274 jobs in July 2024. It called a decision to focus on core markets again. The company blamed “increasing competition in the residential market and inflation, reducing the investment capacity of households, which contributed to the difficulties in its company.”
The company has developed various business areas, including residential, self -consumption, external investments and the commercial and industrial (C&I) market. It has offices in Rennes, Beaune, Bordeaux, Reims, Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Switzerland. Depending on the location it works with internal teams or subcontractors.
