The United States will continue to dominate the Solar Tracker market, with Nexpracker securing the top position worldwide in 2024.
The Global Solar Tracker market had a record year in 2024 and sent 111 GW to product, according to Wood Mackenzie. This represents a 20% growth on an annual basis for shipments of soil mounting Solar Tracker Systems.
Nexpracker remained the best global supplier for the tenth year in a row and sent 28.5 GW or about 26% of the worldwide market share. The company had a growth of 39% on an annual basis in 2024.
Other leaders of the worldwide market share were Arctech Solar, Gamechange Solar, PV -hardware and Array technologies.
Artech Solar, the largest Chinese supplier with headquarters, jumped into the ranking of market share, catch-up array, Gameschange and PV hardware. The company held a second place in the Saudi and Indian markets, which were combined for 28 GW Tracker question, which exceeded the question of the whole of Europe in 2024. Chinese suppliers increased the focus in the foreign supply as the demand for the domestic tracker fell for a second consecutive year.
“The year was characterized by the rapid growth of the Indian and Saudi-Arab tracker markets, which led to a stir in the Podium dominated by the US from 2023,” said Joe Shangraw, research employee at Wood Mackenzie.
The American Tracker market went back for the first time in eight years with 33 GW of shipments, with 9% compared to the record year in 2023. Gamencange Solar is in second place among American suppliers, who exceed Array technologies, which had more than 35% decrease in domestic shipments in 2024, said Wood Merkenzie.
The top three suppliers – NexTracker, Gamechane and Array – combined for more than 90% of the American domestic market.
Although the American tracker market is strongly consolidated, the European market remains competitive and diverse, with more than nine suppliers who capture between 5% and 15% of the market share, Wood Mackenzie said.
