Goldi Solar, located in Gujarat, has launched an AI-driven production line for solar module in its new facility in Kosamba, Surat, Gujarat. Pralhad Joshi, minister of new and renewable energy, has inaugurated the facility.

The AI-driven factory, with a planned 14 GW production capacity, has high-speed stringers who automate cellsemblage, which achieves a transit of 10,000 cells per hour. AI-driven automation improves consistency and precision and minimizes errors and material waste.

The facility also uses AI-driven automated optical inspection systems (AOI) for real-time quality control, the implementation of computer vision to detect and eliminate microscopic defects.

A fully integrated pre-ramination section comprises an automatic EVA layrobot, optimizing incoming maturation place with minimal human intervention and reducing inconsistencies compared to manual processes. The facility also has AI-driven three-display electroluminescentia (EL) and visual inspection systems for and rear panel reviews.

The factory contains a three-phase automatic laminator with double heating (electrically and on oil based) to improve the panel strength and a long service life. An automated ICB elevation system with Teflon removal increases efficiency, while an inline double low high-potential (Hi Pot) tester (Hi Pot) ensures superior insulation and electrical safety.

An intelligent car sorting system with eight BIN uses AI for real-time adjustments, making it possible to make precise module classification. A state-of-the-art production implementation system (knife) supports live modula monitoring and tracking, thereby guaranteeing complete transparency and operational efficiency.
