Keeping up with consumer demand for home battery installations is a fitting task for OSW Group’s free GreenSketch AI 3.0 business tool for designing and installing rooftop solar and batteries.

Upgraded with new features to complement an installer’s ability to automatically detect and refine real roofs with precision to determine installation suitability through high-resolution imaging of neighborhoods anywhere in Australia, and a 3D view that explores roofs, trees and shadows from every angle and height to optimize solar layouts.

GreenSketch AI’s next-generation features also include battery wall templates that allow installers to choose from preset templates or create their own.

GreenSketch Australia and New Zealand Country Manager Richard Cameron said pv magazine the improved platform has numerous home battery configuration templates that allow installers and their customers to visualize how an installation can operate in the available space.

“GreenSketch can create a visualization of where a battery goes, but an installer can also upload his or her own image of a real wall to place the components of an installation in real time and understand exactly where cables, doors and entrances go, and that’s a key selling point of our platform,” said Cameron.

“With GreenSketch, installers can demonstrate to a customer what exactly the battery installation will look like before the installation begins.”

OSW group and GreenSketch founder and CEO Anson Zhang shared pv magazine the mission has always been to simplify and accelerate the solar energy design and implementation process.

“With these new updates, GreenSketch has become both a fully integrated business platform and the leading battery design platform, helping solar companies work smarter and deliver even more value to their customers,” said Zhang.

Business tools

The upgraded platform provides one-click RFQs and virtual power plant (VPP) revenue calculations for a simple end-to-end process, allowing instant export of bills of materials, sending RFQ emails, managing supplier information and tracking purchasing activities, all in one place.

Once a battery is added, the VPP revenue calculation can be estimated and the system displays the projected value directly in the proposal, strengthening financial returns for customers and achieving higher conversion rates.

GreenSketch AI users can now invite team members, assign roles, and configure permissions to improve collaboration and protect sensitive data.

Updated Terms and Conditions with both standard and NETCC compliant versions ensure installers stay aligned with Australian regulatory requirements, and centralized management of email templates allows teams to send professional proposals with a customizable sender name and recipient details.

“The goal is to reduce red tape, reduce costs and accelerate the transition to clean energy,” said Zhang.

Emily

A new feature includes Emily, a AI-powered marketing agent designed to help solar installers capture, engage, and qualify leads from homeowners to the installer’s business based on factors such as their existing installations.

Specific benefits of Emily include automated pre-sales outreach, increased conversion rates, time and effort savings as the AI handles lead registration and qualification in the background, and exclusive lead ownership, where all leads from an installer’s Emily link or QR code remain fully owned and controlled by them.
