Savant Power Storage 20 will prevent electric black -outs and retain critical energy taxes, such as cooling for food and medicine, with these projects. Savings of energy costs can be forwarded to other necessary expenses. Recipients include a physiotherapy center for the elderly and vulnerable populations; A house that takes care of 35 children; a residential hospice and addiction support facility for men, women and children who live with HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis; a natural disasters rescue organization; And companies that are owned by women who work entirely from the grid.
“We are proud to donate our latest energy storage products, training sources and time – an organization that shares our mission to bring clean, renewable power to more living spaces and facilities worldwide,” said Bob Madonna, CEO of Savant. “For disadvantaged communities with unstable electric griders, the possibility of saving and gaining easy access to energy reliable access to Essentials that many of us consider as a matter of course.”
Savant Power Storage 20 System has a scalable inverter and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery system with between 20 kWh and 200 kWh storage capacity, making it appropriate for houses and facilities with different energy needs. Combined with the modular smart electrical panel technology from Savant, the entire energy ecosystem, battery runtime can increase by throwing electrical loads based on available power capacity. This will mainly be crucial for some of the fully off-grid projects from Grid.
With the Savant app, users can check, check and automate daily energy consumption, so that the lifespan of stored energy during peak periods and malfunctions is optimized. Users can automate their activities for scenarios such as grid failure, prioritize storage energy for an approaching storm and pulling power from the battery when energy from the grid can be more expensive.
Through the real work training program of Grid, students get hands-on experience in installing Savant’s Power Management and Storage Technology. Power Storage 20 Battery and Inverter Hardware is donated to laboratories for personal training and online education through Savant University, a virtual program that trains and certifies professional installers.
“If we want to increase the use of sustainable energy consumption, we must be able to build a competent workforce that is trained to install solar electric systems and batteries,” said Jenean Smith, VP of international programs at Grid. “Our efforts with partners such as Savant will help to develop the next generation of solar and battery installers and at the same time offer career growth, access to emerging technologies and opportunities for employment.”
